InvisOutlet Pro User Guide
The Intecular InvisOutlet Pro is a smart outlet designed to transform your home’s convenience through advanced sensors and home automation capabilities. Offering independent control of two 15A smart outlets, advanced sensors, nightlight functions, and compatibility with popular platforms such as Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa, the InvisOutlet brings both convenience and smart technology to your home.
Getting Started
What You Need
Before installation, ensure you have:
- A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz networks are not supported).
- A mobile device with the InvisHome app installed (available for iOS and Android).
- Access to your home’s circuit breaker to safely install the device.

Device Features
Dual Outlet Control
The InvisOutlet Pro allows for the independent control of two outlets. Each outlet supports up to 15A of power, ideal for controlling various home devices such as lamps, fans, and appliances.
Sensors
This smart outlet features multiple sensors:
- Temperature sensor: Monitors room temperature.
- Humidity sensor: Tracks relative humidity levels.
- Air quality sensor: Measures air quality, with color-coded indicators.
- Motion sensor: Detects movement for occupancy-based automation.
- Occupancy sensor: Detects presence and absence to optimize energy usage.
- Ambient light sensor: Adjusts the outlet behavior based on light levels in the room.
Power Status Indicators
Each outlet has an LED indicator: Top outlet is the left-hand LED, bottom outlet is right-hand LED.
Night Light
The nightlight can be controlled via the InvisHome app or integrated systems, providing soft illumination for safe nighttime navigation.
Device Functions
Manual Control via Touch
You can manually control both outlets by tapping the respective touch-sensitive area towards the left side of the InvisDeco cover plate.
This feature is set as disabled by default, to avoid pets touching the cover plate and accidentally turned on or off the outlets.
Color-Coded Air Quality Indicator
The built-in air quality sensor provides real-time readings, with color-coded indicators to show:
- White: Calibrating.
- Blue: Excellent.
- Green: Good.
- Yellow: Fair.
- Orange: Poor.
- Red: Dangerous.
- Purple: Hazardous.
Installation
Installation requires electrical knowledge. If you are unsure of any steps, please consult an electrician.
Preparing for Installation
Before starting installation:
- Turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
- Ensure your wiring configuration supports Line (Hot), Neutral, and Ground connections; ground is not required.
Installation Steps
Before starting installation:
- Remove existing outlet: Unscrew the current outlet and disconnect the wires.
- Remove InvisDeco Cover-Plate: Carefully unsnap the cover plate by pressing on the middle InvisOutlet while pulling firmly on the indented outer corners.
- Wire the InvisOutlet:
Line (Hot) wire to the line terminal.
Neutral wire to the neutral terminal.
Ground wire to the ground terminal.
- Secure the outlet: Screw the InvisOutlet into the electrical box.
- Install the InvisDeco: Snap on the InvisDeco cover plate and restore power at the circuit breaker.
Get the InvisHome App
Downloading the InvisHome App
The first step in setting up your InvisOutlet is to download the InvisHome app. This app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
- For iOS and iPadOS (Apple devices): Go to the App Store and search for InvisHome. Click Download to install the app on your iPhone or iPad.
- For Android devices: Open the Google Play Store, search for InvisHome, and tap Install to download the app.
Creating an Account and Logging In
- Open the InvisHome app on your device after installation.
- If you’re a new user, sign up by entering your email and creating a password.
- If you already have an account, simply log in using your existing credentials.
Pairing InvisOutlet with the App
- Once logged in, ensure your InvisOutlet is powered on and in pairing mode (the LED indicator should be blinking).
- Tap the "+" icon in the app to start the device setup. Select the option to “Add Device”
- You will be prompted to scan a QR code, which can be found on the InvisOutlet metal plate, as well as the Installation Guide.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup process by assigning a room to the device.
Connecting to Compatible Platforms
Apple Home Integration
To integrate with Apple Home for voice control via Siri:
- Ensure your InvisOutlet is in pairing mode (LED blinking).
- Open the Apple Home app on your iOS device.
- Select "Add Accessory" and scan the HomeKit setup code located on the device or in the setup guide.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add the InvisOutlet to your HomeKit.
- Once connected, you can use Siri to control the outlets.
Simply say commands like: "Hey Siri, turn off the InvisOutlet."
Amazon Alexa Integration
To integrate with Amazon Alexa:
- Make sure Amazon Alexa app is installed on your phone.
- Open the InvisHome app and go to the Settings page.
- Select Assistant Linking and click Link with Alexa, it will automatically redirect to the Amazon Alexa for account linking.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add all the devices under your InvisHome account to your Amazon Alexa account.
- Once set up, use Alexa commands such as:
"Alexa, turn on the InvisOutlet."
"Alexa, set the bottom outlet to off."
Google Home Integration
To integrate with Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app.
- Navigate to Devices and select “Add”.
- Select “Matter-enabled device” and scan QR code.
- Follow prompts to connect to your Google Home account.
- Once set up, you can control the outlet via Google Assistant commands:
"Hey Google, turn on the top outlet."
"Hey Google, set the bottom outlet off."
Samsung SmartThings Integration
To integrate with Samsung SmartThings:
- Before you get started, make sure you have a Samsung hub that supports Matter, such as the Samsung SmartThings Station.
- Use the Samsung SmartThings app to add a Matter device.
Troubleshooting
Device Not Responding
- Check Power: Ensure the circuit breaker is on and the device is connected.
- Wi-Fi Issues: Confirm the device is within range of your Wi-Fi and the signal strength is adequate.
- Factory Reset: If problems persist, hold the reset button for 10+ seconds to reset the device to factory settings.
Connection Issues
If the device isn't connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Check Network: Ensure you're connected to the 2.4GHz network and retry.
Safety
Before installing, servicing, or removing the outlet, read and follow all safety precautions including the following:
- CAUTION - Risk of Electric Shock - Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker before removing or installing any outlet. Use a non-contact voltage tester to ensure the power is off.
- InvisOutlet must be installed and used in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC) or your local electrical code. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unfamiliar with these codes and/or uncomfortable performing the installation.
- Do not install InvisOutlet with wet hands or when contacting wet or damp surfaces.
- Install only in a suitable outlet box with dimensions: H>2.95 in./75mm, W>1.81 in./46mm, D> 3.15 in./80mm.
