Can we get more control in Home Assistant?

I have a couple of InvisOutlet Auras installed in my living room now. I have them set to use the adaptive nightlight in the InvisHome app.

I was hoping to set up an automation in home assistant to turn the nightlight and outlet indicators off in the living room if the apple tv is playing a video. If it is paused or stopped, they should return to the default state (adaptive nightlight).

I can’t seem to find any way to control the light in home assistant if adaptive nightlight is enabled. I also don’t see any way to control the outlet indicators from home assistant. I’d rather not have to disable the lighting features on these outlets, but they are just too annoying when I’m trying to watch a movie.

Any ideas?

  Hi jeffstark,

  I apologize for the delayed response. 

  We have an option called “Override Nightlight Control”, which allows overriding adaptive nightlight settings when someone or automation trigger tries to control the nightlight. This will turn off the adaptive nightlight feature and kept it as off. 

  The outlet indicators can only be controlled via our InvisHome app.

  Both options can be found in Device Settings→Customizations in the InvisHome app. You can find each of the detailed explanations here.
