Device Setup (How to Pair InvisOutlet)

Your InvisOutlet can be connected to a Matter controller (e.g., Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, etc) or to the companion InvisHome app.

If you are connecting to a Matter controller, please pair to the Matter controller first using the provided Matter pairing code; reset InvisOutlet first if you have already paired to the InvisHome app.

Once the InvisOutlet is connected to a Matter controller, please make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as the InvisOutlet. The device will be found automatically in the InvisHome app instead of pairing.

Connect to a Matter Controller (Optional)

1. Make sure the device is in setup mode (status indicator is pulsing). If the status indicator is not pulsing, please press the reset button for 5 seconds and follow How to Reset InvisOutlet instructions.
2. Use your phone and open the Matter Controller's app and select "Add Accessory" or "Add Device".
3. Scan the Matter pairing code on the device or in the instruction manual.
4. Follow the instructions in the Matter Controller's app to complete the setup process.

If connecting to more than one Matter Controller:

• The Matter pairing code on the device and in the instruction manual can only be used for the first-time setup if the device is not yet commissioned to a Matter Controller or the InvisHome app.
• To add the device to another Matter Controller, use the Matter Controller's app to generate a new single-use Matter pairing code.

Connect to the InvisHome app

If you have already connected to a Matter Controller...

1. Open the InvisHome app.
2. Click the Add icon on the Home Screen.
3. Click the Found Paired Device icon and add the device to the InvisHome app.

Note: Please make sure the phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as the InvisOutlet device to be automatically discovered.

If you are connecting the InvisOutlet directly to the InvisHome app...

1. Open the InvisHome app.
2. Click the Add icon on the Home Screen.
3. Click the Add Device icon and follow the instructions to add the InvisOutlet to the InvisHome app.

Note: Please make sure the phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The InvisOutlet will be connected to the same Wi-Fi network that the device is connected to.
