InvisOutlet Pro's air quality sensor measures AQI (Air Quality Index) through a calibration period. The average calibration time is around 7 days; however, it can be longer depending on the installed location.
Below are the best practices that will speed up the calibration phase:
- Make sure there are dynamic air changes during the calibration period. For example, cooking, opening/closing a window, etc.
- Do not blow air directly into the InvisOutlet Pro's vents.
- Do not plug in heat-generating power adapters into the InvisOutlet Pro's receptacle.
If your device is unable to pass the calibration phase within 7 days, this means there isn't enough air change. Please try:
- Using isopropyl alcohol to dampen a cloth.
- Put the cloth close to the InvisDeco Pro's vent holes on the top left for 30 minutes.
- Remove the cloth after 30 minutes.
- The air quality sensor will pass the calibration phase after a day or two.
Note: You will see dramatic AQI reading changes during this period; this is normal as it is performing its calibration.
