InvisOutlet Pro's temperature and humidity sensor is located in the InvisDeco Pro cover plate. To provide the most accurate temperature and humidity reading, we recommend the following:
- InvisOutlet Pro should be kept away from any hot-generating objects. For example, a heater or a fireplace.
- A charging adapter brick should not be directly plugged into the InvisOutlet receptacles, as they emit significant heat. Alternatively, use an extension cord to avoid the charging adapter touching the surface of the InvisOutlet. If no extension cord is available, we recommend plugging into the bottom receptacle to avoid heat affecting the InvisDeco Pro's temperature sensor.
Calibrating Temperature
If you believe the temperature reading is not consistent with other thermostats in your house, you can use the InvisHome app to calibrate the temperature and humidity reading of the InvisOutlet Pro.
- Click the top-right gear icon in the device tile.
- Click into Device Management.
- Click Temperature Calibration.
- Enter the correct temperature and humidity reading.
- Click Apply.
- The temperature sensor will enter a calibration phase for 10 minutes. You will see accurate readings afterwards.
