Before You Install

Before installing, servicing, or removing the InvisOutlet, please read and follow all safety precautions carefully.

⚠️ Important Safety Instructions

CAUTION – Risk of Electric Shock:
Ensure the power is off at the circuit breaker before removing or installing any outlet. Use a non-contact voltage tester to confirm the power is completely off.
Follow Electrical Codes:
InvisOutlet must be installed and used in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC) or your local electrical code.
If you are unfamiliar with these requirements or uncomfortable performing electrical work, consult a qualified electrician.
Avoid Wet Conditions:
Do not install InvisOutlet with wet hands or when in contact with wet or damp surfaces.
Proper Installation Location:
Install only in a suitable outlet box with the following minimum internal dimensions:
Height: 2.95 in. (75 mm)
Width: 1.81 in. (46 mm)
Depth: 3.15 in. (80 mm)

Installation

1. Remove the Old Outlet

Turn off the circuit breaker for the outlet you are replacing.
Remove the outlet by unscrewing the cover plate and disconnecting the wires.

2. Connect the Wires

Position the InvisOutlet with the 5-pin connector on the right.
Insert the white neutral wire and black live wire into the corresponding WAGO connectors.
Secure the green ground wire to the bottom ground screw.

3. Secure the InvisOutlet

Screw the InvisOutlet firmly into place.
Snap on the InvisDeco cover plate, ensuring the LED indicator is at the bottom.
The vents should face upward, and all edges should be flush with the wall.

Test and Pair

1. Restore Power

Restore power at the circuit breaker.
The status indicator should be white pulsing, indicating that your InvisOutlet is ready for commissioning.

2. Pairing InvisOutlet

Congratulations!
Your Wi-Fi-enabled InvisOutlet is now installed and ready for setup through the InvisHome app or any Matter Controller.
