Immediately after installing the app, you will be asked to sign in or create an account. If you are new to the InvisHome app, create an account by inputting the prompted information.

If you have an existing account, select the “Already have an account?” option to sign in using your existing credentials.
After creating an account, you will be asked to “Create Home.” This will allow you to assign your InvisOutlet to the home in which it is installed. You may edit the home name and select your preferred home icon for a personalized feel! Icons may also help you differentiate homes if you decide to integrate InvisOutlets into other homes that are linked to your same account.
To create a new home, click the “+” sign in the top right corner of your screen, then select “Add Home” in the dropdown menu. This will prompt you to name and choose an icon for the new home, followed immediately by a prompt to do the same for a room within the newly created home.
After creating a home, you will be prompted to “Create Room” This will allow you to assign your InvisOutlet to a specific room in the home you previously created. Like the home, you can name the room and select a preferred icon. You will have the flexibility to create, edit, and delete rooms once the set-up process is complete, so don’t worry about a permanent choice.
To create a new room within an existing home, click the “+” sign in the top right corner of your screen, then select “Add Room” in the dropdown menu. This will prompt you to name and choose an icon for the new room.
Troubleshooting: If the InvisOutlet fails to pair, even after a successful QR Code scan, reset the InvisOutlet by long-pressing the middle button of your InvisOutlet until the device’s button light begins to blink. Then, immediately retry Steps 1-3 above.
Scroll through the sensor readings within the Room section (Shown at the top of the screen) to get a holistic snapshot of the entire room. This will give you a high-level understanding of a room’s measurements, even if you have multiple InvisOutlets in that space.
Scroll through the sensor readings within the device display to view the measurements for the individual InvisOutlet.
Control the outlet power by pressing either one or both of the Outlet on/off buttons at the bottom of the device display. If the InvisOutlet is nearby, you may hear a click from the device in response to your app control.
Choose to control your InvisOutlets per room or device.
To control the night lights for all InvisOutlets in a room, press the lightbulb icon in the top-right of the display in the Room section to turn them on/off. To dim and brighten your device's night light to your preferred brightness, press and hold the lightbulb icon until a slide pops up.
The individual InvisOutlet controls will be the same as the room, and the button will be located at the top left of the device display.
To check if your app is currently connected to your home and its devices, view the globe icon at the top left of your screen. When it is a full globe icon, this means you are connected. If there is a diagonal line running through the globe icon, you are currently disconnected.
The connection status of an InvisOutlet will be shown by a globe icon in the top right corner of the device display. A diagonal line through the globe icon indicates the device is disconnected. The device display will also be greyed out when disconnected, and you will not be able to control it. To reconnect the device, tap the globe icon, then press the “Reconnect” option when prompted by the pop-up.
To access Device Settings, press the cog wheel icon at the top right of your device display. This will pull up the Device Settings menu.
To edit your device name, select “Edit Device Name” in the Device Settings menu. You will then be prompted to change the InvisOutlet name.
To edit your device details, include the indicators for both outlets and night light, and press “Edit Device Details” in the Device Settings menu. You will then be prompted to change Outlets 1 and 2, as well as the night light details.
To customize your device’s settings, press “Customizations” in the Device Settings menu. This will bring you to your customization hub, where you will be able to set a plethora of features to your preferred setting.
To set your Outlet Indicator settings, which are the white lights towards the bottom of the cover plate that turn on/off when outlet power is controlled, toggle the “Outlet Indicator” switch button. You may also control the Outlet Indicator brightness by using the light sliding bar below the toggle switch button.
To enable and disable Touch Controls, toggle the “Touch Control” switch button.
To enable the AQI RGB Color Code, which is the color-coded indicator towards the bottom of the cover plate (Between the Outlet Indicators) that provides a visual relay of the current AQI status, toggle the “AQI RGB Color Code” switch button. More information about the AQI indicator can be found in the User Manual.
To enable Home Security mode (InvisOutlet will deter intruders by repeatedly flashing white and red lights in the case of unexpected occupancy), toggle the “Home Security” switch button.
To set your Adaptive Nightlight, which automatically adjusts its brightness based on the current room light levels, toggle the “Adaptive Nightlight” switch button. A useful customization for the Adaptive Nightlight is the Adaptive Minimum and Maximum Brightness settings. With the 2 sliders, you can set the nightlight level to as low and high as you would like, and the Adaptive Nightlight will adjust its brightness according to your preferred bounds.
To enable advanced MQTT, simply toggle the MQTT switch button.
To view Device Information, press “Device Information” in the Device Settings menu. This page will show you information about both the InvisOutlet and InvisDeco (The cover-plate) including the Serial Number, MAC Address, and Firmware Version.
To update your InvisOutlet and InvisDeco cover plate, press “Software Updates” in the Device Settings menu. This will initiate a checking process to determine what, if any, updates are available for the device. You will then be prompted to update the InvisOutlet and/or InvisDeco. Each update may take a few minutes.
To access Device Management, press “Device Management” in the Device Settings menu. This will allow you to restart and reset both your InvisOutlet and InvisDeco cover plate.
To move a device to a different room within your home, press “Move Device” in the Device Settings menu. This will prompt you to move the device to a different room. Note that you must have the desired room location created before attempting to move the InvisOutlet.
To enter your InvisHome Settings menu, select the cog icon at the bottom of your screen, to the right of the Home screen. This will bring up Account settings, Unit Preferences, and About pages.
To customize your Unit Preferences, press “Unit Preferences” in the InvisHome Settings menu. On this page, you can customize the units of measurement that your sensor readings are displayed on the home screen. Adjust the temperature unit, pressure unit, VOC unit, and distance unit to what suits your preferences.
To access the Account Center, press “Account Center” in the InvisHome Setting menu. On this page, you will be able to change your account name and password by pressing the labeled buttons. Additionally, you may sign out and delete your account via the Account Center.
The “About” page within the InvisHome Settings will disclose the application Privacy Notice.
